Oregon County Clerks Testify AGAINST HB 2551

The Oregon Voter Rights Coalition opposes HB 2551 currently before the Oregon House and urges citizen action to defeat this bill. Please write to your legislators, especially members of the House Elections and Rules Committee:

HB 2551 Prohibits opening of return identification and secrecy envelopes in election conducted by mail until 8:30 a.m. on date of election. Prohibits ballot drop sites established by persons other than elections officials.
