What's Next?
In order for HB 3270 to go to the floor of the full House for a vote, it must be moved out of the EER Committee by April 30th. We have received indications that HB 3270 will receive further consideration by the EER Committee. If so, we should see action in the committee in the next couple of weeks. To ensure committee action, we urge election verification supporters to make more calls and send more emails and faxes to EER committee members. Legislative contact information is provided below.
If HB 3270 moves to and is approved by the full House, the bill then goes to the Senate where the process starts over again. Stay tuned for further updates.

Let your support for election verification be heard on Oregon’s radio airwaves and online. An outstanding local supporter of election integrity is Thom Hartmann. He welcomes citizen input on election matters and often takes calls on this subject. Call his show or comment on his KPOJ site. Call in to any other local talk shows as well, and mention this bill. Election integrity is not a partisan issue, it concerns citizens’ rights and democracy. So this topic should be welcomed by any talk show host or discussion board involving government, political or legislative topics.
